A rather nauseating video is spreading like wildfire on TikTok and across major social media platforms featuring an alleged elementary school teacher asserting that she should be allowed to essentially indoctrinate her young, impressionable students by teaching them about Jesus and her own personal Christian beliefs in an effort to “even out the playing ground,” as some states have recently approved curriculums that allow educators to teach students about gender identity.

“If schools are allowed to teach gender identity to elemenary [sic] children then I, as a elemenary [sic] educator should also have the freedom to teach them about how God was not confused when he designed them,” says the woman in the video, which shows it was created by Kristan Whann.

The title of the cringe-inducing video reads: “We must protect our children.”

“I should be able to teach them about Jesus and how God created them a boy or a girl on purpose and for a purpose. If you have the freedom to teach my child that they might be confused about their gender, then I should also have the liberty to teach your child that God did not make a mistake when he created them. I think it’s time we even out the playing ground,” the alleged teacher says in the video.

The original TikTok video features the hashtags, “christianteacher” and “parentalrights.” In the comments section, one person commented, “bring back Jesus in schools!!!!” To which Whann responded by saying that is her “heart’s desire.”

Pew Research notes that the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as federal courts, have ruled that the First Amendment forbids “state sponsorship of prayer and most other religious activities.”

A public elementary school teacher by the name Kristan Whann was found pretty easily through a quick Google search and the account that the video came from has several other TikToks of the same nature, on similar topics.

While the original video is no longer accessible on TikTok, as it seems the account has now been set to private, popular freelance journalist who goes by Fifty Shades of Whey posted it on Twitter:

Don’t let Ron DeSantis catch wind of this woman, he’ll fall head over heels in love.
