A former top aide is reportedly about to drop a lot of info on former first lady Melania Trump and Donald in a new book, “I’ll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw in The Trump White House,” set to be released next month. The former first lady’s chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham, reveals that at 1:25 p.m. on Jan. 6, soon after an unruly mob, incited by former President Donald Trump, had broken through barricades outside of the U.S. Capitol to stop the peaceful transition of power, Grisham texted Melania Trump, according to Politico Playbook.

“Do you want to tweet that peaceful protests are the right of every American, but there is no place for lawlessness and violence?” Grisham said in a text to Melania.

It was just one minute later that the former first lady, who was preparing for a photoshoot of a rug she had selected, responded, “No.”

“Grisham, a years-long Trump loyalist who resigned within hours of that text exchange, also writes that she asked Melania a couple of times whether she should reach out to Jill Biden during the transition to set up the traditional inauguration tea,” the outlet reports. “But instead of setting up the meeting, Melania told her that they should “see what the West Wing does.” The reason, according to Grisham: Melania, like her husband, believed the election was illegitimate.”

Melania told Grisham that “something bad happened,” saying that the election results weren’t legitimate. According to the book, Grisham tried to explain to the former first lady that there are small irregularities in all elections and there was no massive conspiracy to remove Trump from office unfairly.

A publishing source told the outlet that “Stephanie knows she’s stirred up a hornet’s nest with this book.” Politico reports, “It includes potentially unflattering nuggets about other officials with whom Grisham tangled during her time in the White House, according to the source. Among them are Jared Kushner and Mark Meadows, who removed her as White House press secretary, the person said.”

“Stephanie has secrets about Trump that even the first lady doesn’t know,” the source added. “Secrets that he doesn’t want her to know. They will be in this book.”

A statement in response provided by the office of Melania Trump states: “The intent behind this book is obvious. It is an attempt to redeem herself after a poor performance as press secretary, failed personal relationships, and unprofessional behavior in the White House. Through mistruth and betrayal, she seeks to gain relevance and money at the expense of Mrs. Trump.”

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?

Grisham resigned in the wake of the insurrection. It’s not surprising that Melania is as bad as her husband, embracing the big lie that led to the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection. After all, Melania is a birther, too, and floated the idea that former President Barack Obama was an illegitimate president, falsely claiming that he was actually born in Kenya. And now, both Mel and Donald are saying that President Joe Biden isn’t the legitimate president of the United States. I’m starting to see a pattern here. It’s shameless, really. And despite their efforts, Obama left office enjoying a decent approval rating, and Trump left office in disgrace as the least popular president in history.
