New Book Claims That Trump Loyalist And Pal, Lindsey Graham, Privately Believes The Former President Is A “Damaged Team Captain”

Imagine that.

Legendary journalist Bob Woodward and veteran Washington Post reporter Robert Costa interviewed more than 200 firsthand participants and witnesses for their forthcoming book ‘Peril,’ and some of the excerpts are chilling, to say the least. There’s been speculation of Donald Trump running again, and certainly, the twice-impeached one-term president has teased his supporters with that idea. The book touches on that, according to CNN. Apparently, what South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, a Trump sycophant, says privately and what he says to the former president are two different things. Quelle surprise!

“The book ends with Trump allies speculating about his plans for 2024,” the outlet reports. Privately, the South Carolina Republican Senator is quoted as saying, “if he wants to run, then he’s going to have to deal with his personality problems … we’ve got a very damaged team captain.”

However, in a conversation with the former president directly, Graham was much more optimistic.

“You’ve been written off as dead because of January the 6th,” Graham told Trump, according to the book. “The conventional wisdom is that the Republican Party, under your leadership, has collapsed.” Graham continued, telling Trump that if “you came back to take the White House, it would be the biggest comeback in American history.”

Earlier this year, Graham said that the Republican Party could not continue without former President Donald Trump, and that’s really sad.

“I would just say to my Republican colleagues: ‘Can we move forward without President Trump?’ The answer is no,” Graham said in an interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity.

I wonder what he thinks privately about that now because, in 2016, Graham tweeted out a warning if his party nominated the former TV reality show star.

It sure sounds like Lindsey is well aware of the fact that Trump is mentally unwell. Trump is a malignant narcissist incapable of empathy, and the latter is pretty much a requirement for being president. Adding to Trump’s problems is that there is no cure for his anti-personality social disorder, so good luck with Trump dealing “with his personality problems.”

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
