It’s a really sad state of affairs when you know if the “president” says something, the opposite is likely true. Well, that happened yet again after Trump denied knowing two Soviet-born businessmen from Florida, Lev Parnas, and Igor Fruman. Both of the men have been pictured with Trump and previously, a photo circulated that featured one of the men with Don Junior. But, a private meeting occurred, too, and you guessed it, they discussed Ukraine.
Parnas and Fruman, who are associates of Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, were arrested at Dulles International Airport last month. After that, Trump didn’t even reduce them to coffee boys. Instead, he denied knowing them.
“I don’t know them,” Trump insisted. “I don’t know about them. I don’t know what they do.”

Wellll, according to a CNN report, the two men were guests at the White House’s annual Hanukkah party last year and had their pictures taken with the “president.” Included in the picture that was posted on social media, Parnas and Fruman are seen smiling alongside Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and Rudy Giuliani.
OK, we can understand that a lot of people have their pictures taken with the “president,” but it went further than that. Parnas and Fruman slipped out of a large reception room to have a private meeting with Fat Nixon and Giuliani.
And at one point, as a surprise to no one ever, the topic of discussion turned to Ukraine that night. Parnas reportedly said that “the big guy,” as he sometimes referred to the Trump in conversations, talked about tasking him and Fruman with what Parnas described as “a secret mission” to pressure the Ukrainian government to investigate the “president’s” rival, Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
Parnas reportedly believed he’d been given a special assignment by the “president”; like some sort of “James Bond mission,” according to what a source told CNN.
“Parnas viewed the assignment as a great crusade,” one of the people with whom Parnas confided in said. “He believed he was doing the right thing for Trump.”
Donald Trump next week, probably: “I never knew that Roger Stone guy. I don’t even know what he does.”
Everything Trump touches turns into shit. At least attorneys are finding new clients, though. This was just yet another instance of y’all’s crazy “president” lying to the entire country as he stood on the White House lawn. This shit is getting old.
