New Reports Claim Trump’s Endorsements’ Losses Are Getting Under His Skin, Fears He Will Be Seen As Weak As He Pulls Back On His Public Support

Everything's falling apart for Donald Trump.

With midterm primary elections beginning to unfold in various states all across the nation, things simply are not going so well for “kingmaker” Donald Trump. Several of his picked candidates who received the former guy’s “complete and total endorsement” are now faltering or losing at the polls, and there’s more to come.

We just reported yesterday that the whole ordeal has effectively sent the ex-president into panic mode, as he’s already begun to cry fraud in certain elections where his candidate is losing, or not pulling in the landslide win he undoubtedly expected. But apparently, it’s affecting Trump to a degree more severe than just pumping out panicked posts on his new social media platform. The situation has sent him into such a deep tailspin that he’s becoming gun shy of endorsements altogether and is quickly pulling back hard from throwing his public support behind anyone else, only to be humiliated at the polls.

Politico Playbook notes in a new report that ex-President Trump has not been nearly successful in handpicking Republican endorsements across the country as he would have one believe. In fact, most of his perceived success rate has been way over-inflated by the fact that he’s thrown his public support behind candidates who are running virtually unchallenged in their races.

As the truth comes out in the polls, CNN reports that the former president is becoming rapidly terrified of being seen as weak among the GOP, as he desperately clings to his power over the party.

“Trump’s endorsement losses are starting to pile up,” Politico’s Ryan Lizza wrote. “Most of his endorsements have been in races where his anointed candidate faced little or no competition. Nobody would be impressed by a handicapper who won placing bets at a track featuring races with only one horse.”

Lizza notes that Trump’s record in competitive races now stands at “seven wins and four losses — a 64% winning percentage” before adding, “That’s not bad, but it’s not nearly as good as the padded win-loss record Trump world promotes.”

CNN’s Gabby Orr took this notion a step farther, reporting that this development in the primaries will likely see GOP candidates calling the ex-president for an endorsement being sent to voicemail instead.

According to Orr, Trump is extremely “agitated” over the Pennsylvania primaries, where his controversial pick, TV personality Dr. Mehemet Oz, has failed to secure a landslide win against his opponent David McCormick and is instead embroiled in a neck and neck race that’s likely headed to an automatic recount.

One of Trump’s advisors said: “This is not how he expected this to go. If Oz loses, it puts him in an awkward spot because he absolutely trashed David McCormick at his rally and pissed off quite a few allies who never thought he should have endorsed Oz.”

Orr notes in her report that, as bad as things are for Donald Trump right now, as we head into Georgia’s race, they’re about to get a whole lot worse: …while Tuesday’s primaries in Pennsylvania and North Carolina may have delivered mixed results for the former President, next week’s much-anticipated gubernatorial primary in Georgia is looking increasingly likely to hand Trump a major setback. With a flood of support from big-name Republicans such as former Vice President Mike Pence and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, incumbent Gov. Brian Kemp is widely favored to fend off a GOP primary challenge from former Sen. David Perdue, who was hand-picked and recruited by Trump last year amid the former President’s frustration with Kemp’s refusal to contest the 2020 election results in Georgia.”

One Trump aide whined, “Georgia will be an absolute bloodbath. My guess is that will have the biggest effect on the endorsement process.”

It’s all falling apart, huh, Donnie boy?
