Following a New York judge’s ruling on Tuesday that the Trump Organization must turn over documents to New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) as part of her office’s probe into whether Donald Trump illegally inflated assets for financial gain, the AG sent out a warning to the White House to preserve all “presidential records.” In August, James revealed that she was investigating several Trump properties, and one thing I’ve learned about her is that she doesn’t play around. The presidency will no longer protect Trump in January after Joe Biden is sworn in.
Tish James subpoenaed Eric Trump in late September. And in August, James went to court to compel the Trump Organization, including Eric, to testify and turn over documents as part of an investigation into whether the family’s company illegally inflated his assets to attract investors and earn loans or tax benefits.
James’ letter now seems to be a warning shot to the White House to step slowly away from any paper shredding machines.

“Once again, justice and the rule of law prevailed,” James wrote in a statement following the ruling, according to Law & Crime. “We will immediately move to ensure that the Trump Organization complies with the court’s order and submits records related to our investigation. My office’s ongoing investigation will continue, as we continue to follow the facts wherever they may lead.”
Trump, who likes to tweet out “Law and order!” is about to find out what those words mean. If James wants to know what crimes Trump is involved in, all she has to do is listen to what he accuses others of because every accusation from a narcissist is a confession. Hillary Clinton was not locked up, but Donald J. Trump might be. What goes around comes around.
