For the first time since the fateful, infamous January 6th Capitol riot last year, Donald Trump’s former vice president Mike Pence officially spoke out in a direct rebuke of his old boss’ attacks during a Florida speech yesterday — making it crystal clear that “President Trump is wrong… I had no right to overturn the election.”
To be frank, we were beginning to wonder if that was ever going to happen, or if Pence would continue to cower under Trump’s menace and anger, despite the fact that he didn’t even defend his VP when his supporters called for his hanging during the violent insurrection.
However, after seeing this, I’m struggling to understand why he took this long.
Late last night, the United States Department of Justice released new video footage from that fateful day, as Trump’s supporters attacked and sieged the nation’s Capitol building, and one of those clips features one of the Trump-supporting insurrectionists vowing to drag then-Vice President Mike Pence through the streets for treason if he refused to go along with Donald’s plan to refuse the certification of the 2020 Electoral College votes — ultimately calling for Pence to be decapitated.

The footage is so heinous that CNN’s Amara Walker aired the video following a clear warning regarding the unsettling language viewers were about to see. In the clip, one bearded rioter looks into his camera and launches an unhinged attack against Mike Pence for what they felt was his betrayal of Donald Trump and his rabid supporters.
The video shows the unnamed man asking those around him if Pence upheld the certification of Joe Biden’s presidential election win as he immediately launches into a curse-filled attack against the then-vice president.
“I’m hearing that Pence just caved. Is that true?” the unidentified Capitol rioter raged on video. “I’m telling you, if Pence caved we’re going to drag motherf*ckers through the streets. You f*cking politicians are going to get drug through the streets because we’re not going to have our f*cking sh*t stolen.”
“If we find out you politicians voted for it we’re going to drag your f*cking asses through the street,” he screamed into the camera before turning his attention back to Pence.
“Let me find out Pence — let me find out you treasoned (sic) the country. I’ll f*cking drag your ass too. Cut their head off! You do the right thing or we’re going to force you to do the right thing.”
