According to a bombshell new report from The Daily Beast, one former Trump campaign adviser turned Newsmax host, Steve Cortes, has been let go from the Right-wing, uber Conservative network, according to five different sources who are familiar with the situation and spoke with the publication.

“Tensions between Cortes and the MAGA cable network had long been simmering, sources suggested, but it was the Trump loyalist’s vehement disagreement—which he wasn’t shy about publicly voicing—with Newsmax’s company-wide vaccine rules that was the final straw,” the Beast report reads. “Earlier this month, Newsmax instituted a rule that all employees must either be vaccinated or submit to weekly COVID testing. The news of such a policy, which was in compliance with the Biden administration’s policy for businesses with more than 100 employees, pushed Cortes to unequivocally declare on Twitter that he wouldn’t have any part of it.”

One current Newsmax employee referred to Cortes as “a constant risk” due to his incessant inflammatory comments on the network. They went on to reveal that the former Trump adviser’s show was actually put on a broadcast delay by the network, which allows producers to edit and censor his comments before the segment airs because they “can’t trust him.”

Another staffer for the ultra Right-wing network said Cortes was booted “because the ratings for [his] show suck.”

“He still insists the election was stolen,” one staffer went on to explain to the Daily Beast. The Beast noted that the Newsmax network has already been sued by two separate voting machine companies for pushing the Big Lie born from Donald Trump, claiming the 2020 presidential election was rigged and wrought with election fraud, leading Trump to unfairly lose to President Joe Biden. It’s likely that the lawsuits are driving the network’s reluctance to continue to air such claims.

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
