Obama Posted A Tweet That Seemed To Take A Jab At POTUS, Hinted That Good Economy Was Due To His Efforts, Not Trump’s

I feel a Trump Twitter-tantrum coming.

Congress, with a Democratic majority, passed the 2009 stimulus bill— known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act— providing for roughly $800 billion in government spending and tax cuts to jumpstart the economy. Former President Barack Obama signed the Recovery Act that helped to dig us out of an apocalyptic repression that was caused by the previous administration. After Trump took office, he has tried to take credit for the healthy economy that Obama handed his successor. But now, the economy is in the shitter amid a national crisis.

Obama took to Twitter to note the anniversary at the time — which also happened to land on Presidents’ Day.

“Eleven years ago today, near the bottom of the worst recession in generations, I signed the Recovery Act, paving the way for more than a decade of economic growth and the longest streak of job creation in American history,” Obama tweeted.

That tweet is going to get under Diaper Donnie’s thin skin.

Obama, who inherited a recession, gifted Trump with a healthy economy but the current occupant of the White House turned around and immediately handed a tax cut to the wealthiest, then started a trade war. We’re sure Obama’s tweet will go down really well with Trump (since he’s such a disciplined and even-tempered man). The Red Hats did not take it well at all.

Trump has been rage-tweeting lately, likely because his poll numbers are whithering as twenty-six million Americans have suddenly found themselves without a job.
