Obama Responds To Election Wins, Sends Republicans A Clear Message

Can we please have him back?

Many GOPers, Donald Trump included I’m sure, have been pouting into their pillows since last night’s election results came rolling in and they weren’t in favor of a continued reign of terror for the dictator-in-chief.

Americans are all the way fed up with the Republican Party’s bullshit and they made as much damn well known yesterday by voting in a blue wave of Democrats to government positions.

Even the state of Kentucky — which is as red as they come, voting Trump in a 30 point lead back in 2016 — broke the mold last night when they voted in Democratic governor Andy Beshear who was running up against the current governor, controversial and widely hated Trump sycophant, Matt Bevin.

To say the least, members of the Grand Old Party have been rather whiny today — with Donald Trump himself even going so far as to already attempt to distance himself from Bevin’s loss.

But do you know who’s not pouting today? Donald’s sworn enemy and predecessor, former POTUS Barack Obama. That’s who.

In fact, Obama, like many of the rest of us, is actually tickled pink at the leftward swing the United States took last night, and he wants everybody to know it.

In a post on his Twitter account, Obama applauded the American people for showing up and doing their Democratic duty yesterday to incite some change in our government.

“Proud of all the Americans who showed up to vote yesterday, electing a set of hopeful, forward-thinking leaders primed to protect Medicaid, draw fair voting maps, and reduce gun violence,” Obama’s tweet read. “A great night for our country—one that’ll leave a lasting legacy.”

Did he straight call Donald and his GOP cronies out? No. But did he leave them with a lasting message that left no room for doubt on where he stands? You bet your ass.

Can I just say on behalf of the majority of Americans left dealing with Trump’s and his party’s mess… God, we miss him.
