Donald Trump’s behavior recently has been enough to make even the most saintly of saints want to find the nearest, tallest cliff and throw themselves off of it with a screech of “Screw you, Donald Trump!”
Don’t get me wrong. The guy has never been good. But now that people are dying by the thousands and all he continues to do is find a way to serve himself over and over again at the cost of thousands more lives, I have to admit that it really exacerbates my deep-seated hatred for him in a way that I can’t even explain — as I’m sure it does a good majority of the rest of us.
So, to say that I needed a little pick-me-up during these weird, dark, lonely, and absolutely terrifying times is a bit of an understatement.
But don’t you worry, folks… I found a pick-me-up for us all.

Back in December, when Donald Trump was still just human garbage, and not yet murderous human garbage, an Academy Award-winning actor added something extra special to the top of his holiday wish list, and quite frankly, I wish I’d written in to Santa about it first.
During a podcast with TMZ’s Michael Moore, Robert De Niro told the host that for the holidays, “I’d like to see a bag of shit right in his face. Hit him right in the face like that and let the picture go all over the world.”
I’ve gotta be honest with you. I would pay an obscene amount of money to see that.
“And, that would be the most humiliating thing because he needs to be humiliated,” the actor added.
After revealing his wishlist, De Niro went on to call on the Democratic nominee to “confront him and put him in his place, because the people have to see that, to see him be humiliated.”
Of course, this is far from the first time De Niro has let his feelings on the president be known — declaring “F*ck Trump” at the 2018 Tony Awards, tearing into him during his American Film Institute awards speech, going on CNN and calling him “crazy,” and making a point to mock him on SNL at every given opportunity.
But I’ll you what… It was exactly the one I needed to hear today.
