This is just unreal.

As the state of affairs between the United States and the country of Iran worsen with each passing moment yet another tragedy has struck. Reports are now indicating that a Boeing 737 passenger plane carrying 180 people has crashed near Tehran, Iran just shortly after the aircraft’s takeoff.

Various reports, including a breaking report from CNN, have indicated that the passenger plane was Ukrainian.

Footage posted to social media that claims to be of the plane crash in question shows what appears to be an aircraft on fire, falling through the sky, before crashing into what appeared to be a rather large explosion.

In the video footage below, a man can be heard saying “that’s an airplane on fire” in Farsi before he begins to pray. Right as the video footage cuts off, the individual can be heard saying that the fire department needs to be called.

Please note that the footage below cannot be confirmed as actual footage of the plane crash in question and it does contain material that some viewers may find disturbing:

As expected, plenty of theories are already in circulation, with some unconfirmed social media reports indicating that the plane in question may have accidentally been shot down by a stray Iranian missile. Once again, these reports are pure speculation and as yet completely unconfirmed.

However, the peculiarity of the situation certainly cannot be denied.

Either way, it certainly feels that things are going to Hell rather quickly. Trump has opened a can of worms here that he had absolutely no business toying with. I’d bet my paycheck that man has absolutely no idea what he’s gotten himself into or how to get the nation he swore to protect out of this mess.

But one thing is certainly for sure — from California to South Carolina, to Iraq and Iran, there are many sleepless nights ahead of us all.
