President Donald Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, along with other members of Congress attempted to hold a meeting at the White House this afternoon in regard to the ongoing, disgusting situation that is currently taking place with one of the United State’s biggest allies, the Kurds.
Donald made what appeared to be a split-second and downright irrational decision recently to pull US troops out of the Syria/Turkey border, which effectively gave the Turkish government the green light to launch an attack against the group of people who have stood beside the US for decades now and worked with us to defeat ISIS.
What ensued after Trump’s actions can only be described as a bloodbath. Kurds are losing their lives at an alarming rate and some of Donald’s staunchest supporters are beginning to turn their backs on him as he has turned our backs on one of our greatest allies.
Members of Congress had planned to sit down with the president in hopes of coming to an agreement to stop the bloodshed of thousands of Kurdish people.

However, Donald Trump was evidently unable to tolerate the criticism that he received not only from the Democratic members of Congress but from his fellow GOPers.
Reports have already indicated that the meeting was cut extremely short due to Donald’s manic, erratic, and completely unhinged behavior during the sitdown — in which he allegedly referred to House Speaker Pelosi as a “third rate politician.”
His treatment of the House Speaker was so bad, in fact, that House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer stated that he has never “seen a president treat so disrespectfully a coequal branch.”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for the likes of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to come out and claim that the whole ordeal was the fault of Pelosi, stating that she was the reason the meeting was shut down and it’s basically her own fault that she got insulted.
However, Nancy Pelosi has never been one to take Donald or his administration’s bullshit sitting down.
In a joint statement with House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Madame Speaker was quick to reveal her side of what happened in that meeting. And frankly, it sounds just exactly like Donald Trump’s typical behavior when he’s not getting what he wants.
After explaining what the meeting’s intentions were, Nancy went on to explain, “I think that vote, the size of that vote, more than 2 to 1 on the Republicans voted to oppose what the president did, probably got to the president because he was shaken up by it.”
“And that’s why we couldn’t continue in the meeting,” Pelosi revealed. “Because he was just not relating to the reality of it.”
