Despite her complete and utter irrelevance these days, former Trump official and “Bowling Green Massacre” expert herself, Kellyanne Conway, stuck her foot right in her big ole mouth during a Fox News appearance today when she proved that, in addition to national tragedies and the way microwaves actually work, she apparently has no clue what a supply chain crisis really is either.
As I’m sure you’ve seen on the Conservative circuits these days, the Right is having an absolute cow over the current supply shortages being experienced across the nation right now. Of course, as with anything that goes wrong now, they’re attempting to lay the blame on President Biden, despite the fact that he really and truly has nothing to do with the problem. (You can check out this report from Business Insider that gives a deep dive explanation into what’s really behind the current supply chain crisis.)
But nevertheless, Ms. Microwave hopped on Fox News today and not only appeared to blame the President for the supply chain issues but went on to publicly claim that such a crisis was never experienced under Donald Trump’s four-year reign of terror in the White House.
“I worked in that White House for four years. We never even heard of a such of a thing,” Kellyanne asserted. “There was no supply chain crisis.”

Look, excuse my crudeness here, but there was a solid 6 months in Trump’s America where people couldn’t wipe their asses with toilet paper because there was literally none of the shelves. And don’t even get me started on the disinfectant wipes, the milk, bread, and eggs, or the PPE that was desperately needed by the healthcare industry, but nowhere to be found.
As a result of Kellyanne’s tone-deaf statement today, people have taken to Twitter with the now-viral hashtag “EmptyShelvesTrump.”
Accompanying the hashtag, social media users are posting photos, reminding what store shelves looked like under the Trump administration, especially in the early days of the never-ending COVID-19 pandemic:
How do you like your eggs?
Too bad.

Kellyanne may not have much sense, but the woman’s got audacity in spades.
