Kentucky GOP Senator Rand Paul has made quite a buzz in the news lately as he continues to challenge Dr. Anthony Fauci at every turn in regard to the coronavirus pandemic that’s been raging in this nation for nearly two years now.

Now, it’s important to note here that while Dr. Fauci is quite literally one of the leading immunologists in this nation and currently serves as the director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Rand Paul is an ophthalmologist who hasn’t even been board certified since 2013, as far as we know. But nevertheless, Paul seems to believe that he and Fauci are equals in the world of medicine; that he somehow has the same level of authority as Fauci when it comes to a literal deadly pandemic that has cost this nation over 600 thousand lives.

To say the very least, Rand’s public behavior has earned him quite a lot of scorn among the American people who are just trying to survive.

Recently, the Trump-loving Kentucky senator participated in a live town hall event where he took call-in questions from his constituents across the Bluegrass state. At one point during the event, one Kentucky citizen prank called the senator’s town hall event and let Paul know how she really feels.

The Paul aide hosting the event unknowingly queued up the prank call, stating, “We’ll go ahead to our next question now. Mrs. Alexis Toon, you are live with the senator.”

The Kentucky caller didn’t waste any time, saying, “Hi senator, I am a proud Kentucky citizen and I just wanted to tell you to get f***ed.”

Both the aide and Senator Paul himself looked rather shocked for a beat or two before awkwardly moving on to the next question.

Look, folks. All I can say is not all heroes wear capes.
