Prankster Epically Trolls Ted Cruz To His Face While Attempting To Get His Autograph; Cruz Did Not Seem Thrilled

Oof. That was embarrassing!

Look, there’s really nothing better in the world, in my humble opinion, than to see a Republican get trolled. It genuinely fills me with joy. Call me petty, I don’t care. We’re at a point in this world where you gotta enjoy the small things. But let me tell you, it’s truly top tier when it’s not just any old Republican that gets publicly humiliated. When it’s Ted Cruz, it simply just does not get any better than that. I mean… *chef’s kiss.*

Suffice it to say, I was instantly filled with joy today when I caught wind of this top-notch trolling.

A new video clip is now circulating on social media, much to the Cancun transplant’s dismay I’m sure, showing the Texas Republican Senator being approached by a couple of innocent-enough-looking guys asking him for his autograph.

At first, Ted seemed pretty happy about the recognition he was getting out in public and was all too happy to oblige with his ole John Hancock. That is until he realized what it was the guys were asking him to sign.

As it turned out, it wasn’t just any ole Joe Shmo off the street that was asking Ted Cruz for his autograph. But instead, it was the popular prankster duo known as The Good Liars — and they were asking him to sign a copy of the National Enquirer cover story that connects Cruz’s father Rafael Cruz, to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The very same rumor that Donald Trump used against the TX Republican back on the 2016 campaign trial, in the midst of insulting Cruz’s wife.

Once Ted realized what the pranksters were handing him, he was no longer willing to give the guys his autograph, exasperatedly saying, “No, not on that.”

The duo pressed the senator, asking why he wouldn’t sign the printout of the tabloid cover, and Cruz responded, “Because I’ve seen your silly videos.

This at least gave the Good Liars Jason Selvig and Davram Stiefler a little satisfaction, with Stiefler tweeting the video and captioning, “Ted Cruz is a fan of ours holy shit.”
