President Biden Gave A Hilariously Brilliant Response When Asked About Ron DeSantis’ Statement

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) decided to try to be edgy by attempting to lay the blame for the surge of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations in Florida on President Joe Biden. The Sunshine State is now the nation’s new virus epicenter. DeSantis blamed Biden even though the Republican governor gave out an order barring schools from implementing mask requirements for kids.

DeSantis falsely suggested that the reason for the COVID-19 surge in Florida was due to immigrants coming in from the southern border and not from his own incompetence and failure to issue a face mandate.

“Joe Biden has taken to himself to try to single out Florida over COVID,” DeSantis insisted. “He’s imported more virus from around the world by having a wide-open Southern border.”

“Why don’t you do your job?” DeSantis added. “Why don’t you get this border secure? And until you do that, I don’t wanna hear a blip about COVID from you, thank you.”

President Biden is doing his job, you dork. DeSantis has failed to keep Floridians safe, and his poll numbers are taking a hit.

On Friday, Joe Biden was asked to respond to DeSantis’s jabs, but the president didn’t have time to play games with the Republican governor and just said, “Governor who?”

Watch:

DeSantis’s campaign website features drink koozies and shirts emblazoned with the slogan, “Don’t Fauci My Florida,” as well as flags that bears a resemblance to former President Donald Trump’s, saying, “Keep Florida Free.” Dr. Anthony Fauci, our nation’s top infectious disease expert, has become a favorite punching bag for Republicans amid the pandemic.

Despite DeSantis’s resistance to implementing simple guidelines, White House press secretary Jen Psaki responded to the Floria governor’s remarks by noting that Floridians are getting vaccinated now and called on DeSantis to join the administration in this fight. She also noted the percentage of hospitalizations from COVID-19 in the Sunshine State. It’s almost as if they’re treating him like a child in the hopes of getting him to keep his constituents alive. DeSantis, though, is too busy trying to start slap-fights with the president.
