Rand Paul Appears To Mock Dr. Fauci And Encourages COVID-19 Survivors To “Throw Away Their Masks”

I cannot believe this man is actually a doctor.

Pretty much the whole of the Trump administration and the GOP have either been implying or outright shouting from the rooftops that the coronavirus pandemic, or at the very least the severity of it, has all been a Democratic ploy to attempt to “steal” Donald Trump’s rightful second term from him, with many of these idiots predicting that the virus would just “go away” or “disappear” right after election day. In my opinion, this has led many Republicans, both civilians and government officials, to take this pandemic even less seriously.

Yet, here we are, with the election more than a week behind us, us Democrats got the winner we wanted, and still, the exact opposite has happened.

Multiple reports have shown that, even after Election Day with a clear winner on our side, the pandemic in the United States has done nothing but get worse. In fact, our daily infection and death rates are now officially higher than what they were at the beginning of this catastrophe. However, here we are, with the Right continuing to act just as flippantly and behave just as immaturely as ever before — despite the fact that this virus is not a ploy or a hoax or a trick. It is as real as it gets.

Kentucky GOP Senator, COVID-19 survivor, and an actual physician himself, Rand Paul, managed to make a prime example of just that this morning when he took to Fox News to attack and make fun of Dr. Anothony Fauci and encourage those who have battled the virus and recovered to throw away their masks.

“But the other thing is, we have 11 million people in our country who have already had COVID. We should tell them to celebrate. We should tell them to throw away their masks, go to restaurants, and live again because these people are now immune,” the Senator declared, a dangerously false statement, as permanent immunity has not been proven and many instances of reinfection have happened all around the world.

“But Dr. Fauci doesn’t want to admit to any of that,” Paul went on. “Dr. Fauci is like, ‘oh, woe is me’ until the election occurs, but now maybe he’ll be changing his attitude.”

As we’re all well aware, the 2020 presidential election has been clearly and fairly won by now President-Elect Joe Biden who has made it clear that he wants Dr. Anthony Fauci to remind in his position as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

There’s simply no denying, now a week out from the election in this country, that this deadly pandemic absolutely is not going to “disappear.” And the fact that these GOPers are still clinging tight to these dangerous narratives is just further proof that we need President Joe Biden more than ever.
