Reagan Foundation Demands “Trump Train” Remove Doctored Image Of Former President Reagan From Bus

Busted AGAIN!

Just recently, we reported on a so-called “Trump Train” that was told by Buckingham Palace itself to remove a doctored image of Queen Elizabeth II from the MAGA bus, and now it seems the automobile’s owner has been smacked with yet another demand to remove a photoshopped image from the “train,” this time of a Republican party icon.

Of course, the “Trump Train” isn’t actually a train at all, but rather a MAGA-themed, campaign-style tour bus that travels the country to drum up support for the former President in areas where he held rallies or would be visiting. The bus is notorious for using photoshopped images of notable figures wearing MAGA gear — like the Queen of England wearing a MAGA hat and brooch. After Buckingham palace requested the removal of the image, it seems the bus’ owner still isn’t out of hot water, as the Reagan Foundation sets their sights on the “Trump Train.”

The “Train” currently features a photoshopped image of the late former Republican President Ronald Reagan wearing a red MAGA hat and it seems the foundation of the later leader of America was not too happy about it.

Salon claims to have obtained a letter from the Reagan Foundation demanding that the owner of the bus, William “Buddy” Hall, remove the photoshopped image of the former GOP president.

The letter, dated May 13th, reads, “Remove Ronald Reagan’s image from ‘The Trump Train’ by no later than Friday, May 21, 2021, and permanently cease all other use of Ronald Reagan’s name and likeness for your tour bus services.”

To make matters even more interesting, the letter, sent by attorney Linda Merritt, appeared to also cc the Trump Organization, which, to our knowledge, has nothing to do with the campaign-style bus.

“If you agree to and comply with these requests, the Reagan Foundation will consider this matter resolved,” the letter reads.

Hall spoke to Salon today and claimed:

I got the images off of Google two years ago, so I felt since they were there on [the] public domain, it was fine to use.”

He went on to claim that he feels removing Reagan’s image from the “Trump Train” would damage the efforts of the Trump movement, as the bus would no longer make people “smile by the millions.”

Hall claims that the offending images have been removed from the bus and it’s currently in Palm Beach, Florida, being rewrapped with what he called a “wall of appreciation,” that will apparently feature images of the likes of Ted Cruz, Mike Lindell, and Sean Hannity, but noted that he could not show proof that Reagan’s image was removed because he was out of town.
