Recirculated Video Clip Captured The Staggering Difference In Respect Towards The Now-Late Bob Dole From Donald Trump Compared To Barack Obama

The difference is staggering.

An old video clip that’s now begun to recirculate in the wake of former GOP Senator Bob Dole’s death has once again drawn a stark comparison between ex-President Donald Trump and his predecessor, former President Barack Obama. And, once again, Trump absolutely does not come out on top.

In the clip, shared to Twitter by popular user Ron Filipkowski, both of the now-former presidents can be seen in attendance at Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential inauguration. First, we see now ex-President Donald Trump entering the building, where he passes by the now-late Kansas GOP Senator and war veteran Dole on his way in. You’ll see the former guy stop for only just the briefest of moments to lean over and give the Republican senator a weak, half-assed, half handshake then doing the same with Dole’s wife Elizabeth.

The interaction reeks of a mere afterthought on Trump’s part that he seemingly couldn’t get over with fast enough. It quite literally didn’t last all but 2 seconds.

The then-president was followed up by his predecessor, former President Barack Obama. And all I can say is, see the difference for yourself:

As you’ll see, President Obama stop and takes the time to truly interact with Dole and his wife, giving them the respect, compassion, and friendship that Trump denied them, despite the fact that Obama is of the complete opposite party.

Twitter users were quick to point out the difference:

Donald Trump can’t even show basic human decency to the people of his own party. How on earth did anyone ever expect him to show basic human decency to this nation’s people?
