Trump ally Steve Bannon will not comply with the subpoena issued by the House Select committee investigating the deadly January 6 attack on the Capitol. Former chief of staff Mark Meadows won’t likely cooperate since he did not appear for a scheduled deposition in December. Then news broke last month that Meadows is suing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the House panel probing the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. However, those two individuals might not matter in the scheme of things.
Committee member Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) told Katy Tur on MSNBC that “plenty” of former Trump aides have already talked to the panel, and have willingly testified. “We’re going to have people that have a piece of that story…you put those pieces together and then move up the ladder,” he said.

Kinzinger also talked about Fox News host Sean Hannity after his texts to Meadows were revealed.

I’m pretty sure that the investigators already know the answers to the questions they will be asking former Trump staffers and family members. After propagating lies of a rigged election, Trump tweeted in late December after losing the election to Joe Biden, “Statistically impossible to have lost the 2020 Election. Big protest in DC on Jan. 6. Be there, will be wild!” During his January 6 speech, Trump said, “We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.” At one point as he aired his grievances, the crowd chanted, “Fight for Trump,” and the former President said, “Thank you.” Trump mentioned various forms of the word “fight” approximately 23 times during his speech as he whipped the crowd into a frenzy. He then said he would march with the mob to the Capitol. Instead, though, he left the area by car.
Yeah, we know who the ringleader was.
