Rookie Republican congresswoman from Georgia, Marjorie Taylor Greene, a QAnon supporter, was suspended from Twitter over the weekend for repeatedly tweeting election misinformation. Greene just isn’t a serious congresswoman and seems to be over her head. It’s newly minuted President Joe Biden’s full first day of work, and Greene already filed articles of impeachment against him.
“President Joe Biden is unfit to hold the office of the presidency. His pattern of abuse of power as President Obama’s Vice President is lengthy and disturbing. President Biden has demonstrated that he will do whatever it takes to bail out his son, Hunter, and line his family’s pockets with cash from corrupt foreign energy companies,” Greene said in a statement, according to The Hill.
She tweeted out a brief video clip on her totally serious articles of impeachment.

Greene, a staunch Trump supporter, announced that she would be filing the impeachment articles just hours after the House voted last week to impeach the former president. This just sounds like sour grapes to me since Senate Republicans’ investigation into corruption allegations against the Bidens found no evidence of wrongdoing by the current president. The report also did not find evidence that Hunter Biden’s work for the Ukrainian company, Burisma, influenced U.S. foreign policy.
Someone needs to remind Greene that Democrats have control of Congress right now, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will swat her hard. Greene was supposed to file them right after Biden took charge, but according to a GOP source in her district, she “thought it would be a lot easier than it is.”
House Democrats have yet to formally send the impeachment article against Trump over his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol to the Senate for a trial to convict the former president. And Greene should spend her time representing Georgia instead of the former twice-impeached president who is in a lot of trouble right now, both financially and with his upcoming impeachment in the Senate.
