The powerful California Democratic House Rep. Maxine Waters just set her sights on the GOP’s Trump-loving Matt Gaetz, took aim, and brutally fired, after Gaetz’s recent comments claiming he’s proud of the “work” done by Republicans on January 6th, the date of the fateful Capitol insurrection, on the anniversary of the infamous attack.

During an appearance on Steve Bannon’s Right-wing radio show, alongside his fellow Republican stooge Marjorie Taylor Greene, the scandal-ridden House Rep. said, “We’re ashamed of nothing. We’re proud of the work that we did on January 6 to make legitimate arguments about election integrity.”

“We’re actually going to walk the grounds that patriotic Americans walked from the White House to the Capitol who had no intent of breaking the law or doing violence,” the Florida House Rep. stated as Greene happily nodded alongside him.

And Maxine Waters has precisely zero time for his nonsense.

Appearing on MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show,” Waters called Gaetz’s remarks “absolutely outrageous.” And we have to say, we couldn’t agree with her more.

“The world watched what happened, and for them to try and rewrite history and to tell people ‘don’t believe your lying eyes’ is absolutely outrageous,” Rep. Waters said, going on to add that Gaetz “better be concerned” about the sex-trafficking investigation that’s still mounting against him.

” To get in our faces and talk about they had no intent of hurting anybody when we’ve got five of our Capitol police officers who are dead, 150 of them who have been harmed,” she fumed during the MSNBC segment. “We can’t let them get away with it.”

According to the New York Times, a startling Senate report found that a total of five officers who served at the Capitol building died in the days and weeks surrounding the infamous insurrection. An additional approximate 140 officers were left injured as a result of the violent attack.

Thus far, around 738 people have seen charges related to the Capitol riot, and 171 rioters have pleaded guilty in a court of law.

Waters made it clear during her appearance that some Republican lawmakers are just flat-out impossible to work with.

“I want my party to rise to this occasion and not try and think that somehow we are going to be able to work something out with them. They have defined themselves as liars, people with no integrity, and they are intent on protecting Trump, and they’re all afraid of him,” she stated.

“They are not representing even their constituents, and so Gaetz needs to shut up,” Water fired.

Now, what’s her Venmo? Cause I’d like to buy her a drink.
