As the presidential election closes in on Donald Trump and his crew with each passing day, a new report from the New York Times is now alleging that Donald’s campaign manager is funneling payments from his own private firm to members of the Trump family and extended family, including Eric Trump’s wife Lara and Donald Trump Jr.’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle.
According to the report, the flagship firm belonging to Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale, Parscale Strategy, has all but taken over the financing regarding the Republican Party’s fundraising and “has billed nearly $35 million to the Trump campaign, the R.N.C. and related entities since 2017.”
The report indicated that not only has Parscale Strategy served as a central financing hub for the GOP’s online fundraising, the company has also been utilized as a tool to make “payments out of public view” to Lara Trump as well as Kimberly Guilfoyle.
“Their presence makes for an odd dynamic between a campaign manager and a candidate’s family,” the Times report reads. “During a campaign appearance last summer in Orlando, Ms. Guilfoyle confronted Mr. Parscale: Why were her checks always late? Two people who witnessed the encounter said a contrite Mr. Parscale promised that the problem would be sorted out promptly by his wife, Candice Parscale, who handles the books on many of his ventures.”

However, we’re still left in the dark as to just exactly how much the Trump family members have pocketed as a result of this payment scheme, as the Times reports that Parscale’s company, down to the fundraising and financing operations, is “cloaked in secrecy, largely exempt from federal disclosure.”
Considering there’s already one former Trump campaign manager living it up in a jail cell fitted in an orange jumpsuit for the foreseeable future, you’d think these folks would be a bit more careful this go-around when it comes to following campaign finance rules to a tee.
However, I do suppose this is the Trump clan we’re talking about here. And they’re pretty damn good at digging their own holes for us.
