Report Claims Donald Trump “Popped In” To Memorial Services At His Mar-A-Lago Club, “Delivered Remarks And Hung Around”

This is just gross...

Since his humiliating departure from the White House earlier this year, multiple reports have come out saying that ex-President Donald Trump just hasn’t been coping well with life as a regular American citizen. Not only does he no longer enjoy the powers of the presidency that he could lord over the rest of us average Joes, he doesn’t even have a platform to draw in any attention on anymore. Both Twitter and Facebook have decided to maintain their bans on the former president and his attempt at a blog-like thing was short-lived and embarrassingly unsuccessful.

To say the very least, the former guy is pretty damn desperate for some of that adoration and attention that his narcissistic personality thrives on. However, this is worse than I expected, even from him.

According to a new report from Bloomberg’s Joshua Green, Trump has been crashing more than a few events at his Mar-a-Lago Florida resort, before he relocated to his New Jersey club for the summer — and I don’t just mean the occasional wedding or private party, which is bad enough in and of itself.

Apparently, the former President of the United States was showing up (assumingly uninvited) to memorial services for deceased individuals, where he would proceed to deliver some remarks and “hang around.”

Speaking on Trump’s deep, desperate need for attention and adulation, Greene painted a picture of a man so pathetic and need that it’s almost kind of sad. Almost.

He’ll show up to anything. In recent weeks, Trump has popped into engagement parties and memorial services. A Mar-a-Lago member who recently attended a club gathering for a deceased friend was surprised when Trump sauntered in to deliver remarks and then hung around, apparently enjoying himself. This insular feedback loop, amplified by the worshipful validation he gets for doing Newsmax or OAN TV hits, doesn’t appear likely to diminish as he settles into his New Jersey golf club for the summer and prepares to resume his trademark rallies.”

In his article, Greene quoted Trump’s former personal attorney and self-described “fixer,” Michael Cohen, who said, “Donald Trump needs the adulation of the crowd the way you or I need oxygen to breathe.”

“By all accounts, Trump’s life after the White House doesn’t resemble that of a typical ex-president so much as a foreign monarch cast into exile,” Greene wrote, “like Napoleon at Elba, but with golf and a bigger buffet.”

Let me make it clear that I do not now nor will I ever feel sorry for Donald Trump. But good God, y’all. This is an entirely new level of pathetic.

Do you think that Rudy Giuliani will eventually flip on Trump and testify against him?
