Report Claims Proud Boys’ Founder Might Have Been At Hospital Rally To Show Support For Trump

Taking 'stand back and stand by' to heart.

It is now being reported that Gavin McInnes, the founder of the Proud Boys, was spotted among the MAGA supporters outside of Walter Reed Hospital who are holding impromptu rallies and vigils while Trump is hospitalized there for coronavirus. It is said that he arrived draped in a Trump/Pence campaign flag, Budweiser beer in one hand, and no mask on his face while his underlings apparently chanted his name as he made his appearance.

Though McInnes stepped away from the group in 2018, he apparently has taken their new motto, bestowed from the heavens in a verbal mush by Donald Trump himself, to heart and is “standing back and standing by.”

Trump’s failure to condemn the hate group and white supremacy as a whole on the debate stage has undoubtedly invigorated the group, along with his constant calls to watch the polls closely. These constant calls of watching the polls alongside the numerous claims that the polls are rigged, specifically by the democrats, can easily be taken as dog-whistling orders to stand up against any who aren’t voting for their dear leader — which is so dangerous that even the FBI is getting ready for possible violence on and around election day.

It makes sense that there is an ever-growing crowd of crazies outside the hospital where Trump is being kept, being that the president himself is praising it and even risked the lives of others to take a ten-minute ride around the block to wave at them.

The Proud Boys were founded in 2016, probably emboldened by the rancid troll now in office, and rose to prominence in the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville. Despite the fact that then-leader McInnes disavowed the rally, their members still attended — marching with their tiki torches, chanting “You will not replace us” and being part of the not “very fine people” that ended up murdering Heather Heyer.
