Donald Trump isn’t a well-liked individual. Not by his fellow world leaders. Not by the American people. Not by people around the globe. Not by celebrities. Not even by his own wife, it seems.
He’s committed so many horrendous atrocities from his position of power of the past three years that he’s frankly far beyond the point of redemption.
However, this animosity towards Trump isn’t a new thing, nor limited to his transgressions as president for some. Several notable public figures have known for decades now that Donnie is a bad egg.
In a resurfaced report that’s once again making its rounds on social media because it’s still just as relevant now as it was in the 1980s, we’re reminded that Donald Trump has always sucked.

In fact, he was so despicable that even The Rolling Stones were willing to pull out all the stops in an effort to keep the shady then-real estate mogul out of their sight.
Back in the late 80s, the final show of The Rolling Stones’ “Steel Wheels” tour took place at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City and was set to be sponsored by the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino next door.
However, even way back then, the band had no desire to be associated with Donald Trump. So, they cut a deal with the man who would later become president that disallowed him from participating in any advertisement outside of Atlantic City and even banned him from attending the show.
“I get word that I have to come to the press room in the next building,” the tour’s promoter, Michael Cohl, told Pollstar of the night of the event. “I run to the press room in the next building and what do you think is happening? There’s Donald Trump giving a press conference, in our room!”
Cohl claims that Trump attempted to convince him that, “they begged me to go up, Michael.”
“Stop it,” the tour promoter allegedly replied to Trump. “Don’t make a liar of yourself.”
Cohl went back to his dressing room thinking he’d taken care of the issue with the real-estate mogul only to find out not 5 minutes later that Donnie had weaseled his way back to the mic.
“Donald, I don’t know if I can control this. Stop it,” Cohl claimed he pleaded with Trump.
Cohl returned to his dressing room a second time only for the same thing to happen once again. Only this time, Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards offered up his own solution to the problem.
“Keith pulls out his knife and slams it on the table and says, ‘What the hell do I have you for? Do I have to go over there and fire him myself? One of us is leaving the building – either him, or us,'” Cohl recalled.
“One of two things is going to happen,” Cohl ultimately told Donald. “You’re going to leave the building and, at 6:40, The Rolling Stones are going to speak on CBS News, or you’re not going to leave the building and I’m going to go on and do an interview to explain to the world why the pay-per-view was canceled.”
Cohl recollected that while literally saying “You’re fired” to the man who would go on to make a catchphrase out of the statement, he noticed Trump’s “three shtarkers he’s with, in trench coats, two of them are putting on gloves and the other one is putting on brass knuckles.”
Cohl claims he then notified his own head of security who “got 40 of the crew with tire irons and hockey sticks and screwdrivers,” which effectively sent Trump and his goons running with their tails tucked between their legs.
“And that was the night I fired Donald Trump,” Cohl ended.
And now is the day we all wish we could have been a fly on the wall in the Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall in 1989.
