Report Claims Trump Is Now Floating The Idea Of Issuing Pardons For Three Of His Children

It’s safe to say that the whole of the nation has been wondering just who Donald Trump would be passing out presidential pardons to on his way out the door since long before the 2020 election even went down. Once the votes were finally all counted and Democratic candidate Joe Biden was officially called as the president-elect of the United States, curiosities naturally began to get more serious.

To say the very least, with all the legal troubles waiting on Donald’s doorstep the moment he’s no longer protected by the power of the presidency, many of us thought for sure that he’d be wielding that power to pardon himself — which still isn’t out of the question, we still have a month and a half left to go. However, as time ticks on, it’s becoming clear that his own behind isn’t the only one he may be floating the idea of saving.

In reality, Trump has thus far only issued pardons to a couple of turkeys during his lame-duck period — one for the Thanksgiving bird and one for Michael Flynn — but I think it’s certainly safe to assume that he’s far from down.

Yesterday we reported that Donald’s personal attorney and chief idiot of his election fraud defense team, Rudy Giuliani, might be trying to trouble his old pal and current boss for a pre-emptive pardon of all wrongdoing. Though, unsurprisingly, Rudy was quick to deny the claims. And now, a new report alleges that Donald is also mulling the possibility of passing out some presidential “Get Out Of Jail Free” cards to three of his children — you can guess which ones.

Both ABC News and the New York Times report that Trump has discussed with advisors the possibility of issuing pre-emptive pardons for Ivanka, Don Jr., and Eric as well as his attorney, Rudy Giuliani. Evidently, Donald expressed fear to his aides that his incoming successor would unjustly target his children and he wanted to clear them of all wrongdoing before they’ve even been charged with any potential crimes.

Several key Trump allies have been pushing him to do just that, with Fox News host Sean Hannity saying he “needs to pardon his whole family and himself” as he goes “out the door.”

“I assume that the power of the pardon is absolute and that he should be able to pardon anybody that he wants to,” Hannity said.

To add fuel to the fire, it was reported yesterday that the DOJ has spent months embroiled in a “bribery-for-pardon” scheme investigation, though Donald of course denies these reports:

To be completely honest, there’s simply no telling who will be receiving a presidential pardon as a parting gift on Donnie’s way out.
