Report Claims Trump Is Privately Doubting Accusations Against Joe Biden, Says It Could Be “Bullsh*t”

That's a fine line you're walking there, Donald.

There’s certainly no denying that Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is circling in on the sexual assault allegations lodged against Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden like vultures to roadkill. Kellyanne Conway has been all over Fox News demanding “transparency” from the apparent Democratic nominee and even Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, recently jumped on the bandwagon, launching smear campaigns against the former Vice President over a shaky, at best, allegation while blatantly ignoring the 25-plus that are stacked up against their modern-day dear leader.

However, according to a new report, Donald himself is having a bit of trouble jumping on that bandwagon with them, at least in private anyway.

The Daily Beast now reports that behind closed doors Trump has been rather leery of the allegations that have been lodged against his Democratic opponent by his former employee, Tara Reade, going so far as to ponder on the possibility of the allegations being “bullshit.”

“He asked… ‘Does it sound like bullshit to you?'” a source who discussed Biden’s allegations with Trump late last month claimed. “The president did not sound like someone who was totally and uncritically buying into her story and he suggested he did not think this was the most effective way to [attack] Biden.”

Another source who had an inside conversation with Trump regarding the allegations claimed that the president “almost got to the point of [outright] defending Biden,” with Donald claiming that Reade’s allegations didn’t sound like something Biden would do and even went so far as to discourage aides from bringing the hammer down on the Democratic frontrunner in regard to the allegations, at least for the time being, according to a senior White House official.

In addition to his private disbelief of Reade’s claim, Trump has tiptoed around the issue in public, as well.

“All of a sudden you become a wealthy guy, you’re a famous guy, then you become president. And people that you’ve never seen, that you’ve never heard of, make charges,” he stated during a podcast with Dan Bongino recently. “I would just say to Joe Biden, ‘Just go out and fight it’… I can say that I’ve been accused [of sexual assault and harassment]…As soon as you’re famous, you get accused.”

“I guess in a way, you could say I’m sticking up for [Biden],” Trump stated, but quickly added that Tara Reade’s “mother was very compelling certainly, and the girlfriend, or the friends were very compelling. And certainly far more compelling than anything [accusers] had with respect to Brett Kavanaugh.”

On a personal level, I think that Tara Reade’s accusations are complete garbage and it’s people like her who make it impossible for real sexual assault victims to have their voices heard.

However, when it comes to Trump, I think he’s currently walking a very thin line between encouraging people to believe Reade and, in turn, believe the dozens of allegations against him as well, and trying to convince the masses that 25-plus false allegations are something that can feasibly happen to a person.
