Donald Trump, for such a cocky, arrogant asswipe, is positively obsessed with ensuring that people like him. It’s a real problem for him, actually. He’s incapable of merely accepting that some folks aren’t fond of him — mainly because he’s a humongous piece of shit who’s destroying our country one tweet at a time — he has to launch vicious attacks against those who dare to challenge him and get all creepy with the one who think he’s okay. Because evidently he’s downright desperate for validation.
So much so, according to a new report from Washington Post reporter Josh Dawsey, that he made one GOP Senator “super uncomfortable” during a recent fundraiser.
Per the report from the Post, Trump attended a fundraising event at Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C. where he proceeded to put GOP Senator Thom Tillis on the spot for both his funding requests for his home state as well as his past and present personal feelings regarding Trump.
Dawsey wrote that Trump announced to the crowd at the fundraising event that Tillis “didn’t like me at first.”

He then ordered the Senator to stand up in front of the crowd and demanded he “Admit it, you like me now!” before going on to disclose the details of all the federal funding Tillis has requested for his home state of North Carolina.
According to one source who spoke with the New York Times‘ Maggie Haberman, Tillis appeared “super uncomfortable” during Trump’s little egotistical display which featured Trump telling the attendees that he “didn’t realize before how expensive things are in North Carolina.”
Tillis wasn’t the only victim of Donald’s impromptu roasting either. Donald also launched attacks against other Republican senators including Sens. Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Mitch McConnell as well as an outburst against Sen. Lisa Murkowski for skipping the shindig, claiming “she hates me.”
For being such a pompous dickbag, the dude really does have some fragile feelings and a deep-seated need to be beloved.
