Report Claims Trump Threatened To Disown Don Jr. If He Joined The Military

If Donald Trump loves the military so much, why did he allegedly threaten to disown his son, Don Jr., for wanting to enlist and do his patriotic duty? Because that’s what happened according to yet another explosive excerpt from Mary Trump’s new book.

As we all know, Trump dodged the draft five times to escape military service during the Vietnam War. His cowardice has been hanging around his neck like a weight for decades, but especially since he took office as president.

Reportedly, Trump’s namesake son sought to redeem the family name by considering a stint in the military himself, which could have placed him in Iraq or Afghanistan after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Many young men at that time enlisted to defend our nation out of a sense of duty and patriotism.

But, perhaps refusing to let his son show him up by not being a coward, Trump allegedly threatened to disown him if he chose to serve.

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow helpfully highlighted the excerpt during her show.

“Our Uncle Rob, Robert Trump, the president’s younger brother, told us, quote, ‘any of them could be disowned at any time,'” Mary Trump wrote. “‘Donny’ — meaning Donald Trump Jr. — ‘was going to join the Army or some bullsh*t like that, and Donald and Ivana told him if he did, they’d disown him in a second.’”

“The president threatening to disown his son if he joined the military,” Maddow remarked. “Casts a shadow, looms a little bit over what we understand about his bizarre relationship with the military and his perception of their — their role in his administration.”

Here’s the video:

It’s like Trump doesn’t really love the military at all and actually looks down upon the men and women who serve our country risking life and limb every day.

Don Jr. supposedly had the courage, unlike his father, to be part of something bigger than himself. He may have wanted to serve the nation in a capacity that few rich kids ever choose. But his dad stomped on that dream because he couldn’t handle his namesake being braver than him. That’s sad and proves that Trump does not respect our troops and what they do for us.

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
