Just when you thought things with the United States Post Office couldn’t get any worse, CNN just blew the lid off a bombshell report — revealing that Trump’s Post Master General, who’s been scheming to help this administration essentially dismantle the postal service in this country ahead of this year’s election, is still pocketing cash off contractors used by post offices.
CNN is now reporting that Post Master General Louis DeJoy has continued to hold a stake in XPO Logistics, a company that the US Postal Service uses as a contractor, causing a massive conflict of interest.
The report read:
Outside experts who spoke to CNN were shocked that ethics officials at the postal service approved this arrangement, which allows DeJoy to keep at least $30 million in XPO holdings. Raising further alarms, on the same day in June that DeJoy divested large amounts of Amazon shares, he purchased stock options giving him the right to buy new shares of Amazon at a price much lower than their current market price, according to the disclosures.

It’s worth noting here that the Amazon ordeal opens a whole other can of worms, given that Donald Trump has made a pet project out of screwing over Amazon through U.S. Treasury loan deals aimed at increasing shipping prices at Amazon because Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post.
“DeJoy already faces bipartisan criticism for implementing disruptive changes after taking over the USPS on June 15, including eliminating overtime for many workers,” the report goes on to explain. “Democrats also claim he is intentionally slowing down mail delivery to sabotage absentee voting in the November election — a charge he denies.”
A recent report from the Washington Post, speaking with a postal worker in Michigan, revealed that election ballots have always been treated as first-class mail within the US Postal Service, in an effort to ensure that every vote is properly counted. However, post offices are now treating them “like bulk-rate mail,” dismantling the priority on ballots.
To make matters that much worse, DeJoy fired a massive amount of Postal Service staff late last week.
Several pro-democracy advocates feel that this is the beginning stages of Trump and his cronies trying to dismantle the United States Postal Service from the inside out, in an effort to steal this year’s presidential election.
