According to a report released by the inspector general for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a Trump administration official reportedly delayed the publication of information about a chemical that has been linked to health issues – including cancer – in Illinois, according to a report released by the inspector general for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). According to that report, officials delayed the public release of information about the risks of a chemical called ethylene oxide in Willowbrook, Ill, The Hill reports. It appears that more and more details of the misdeeds within the Trump administration will continue for quite a while.

The EPA inspector general found that Bill Wehrum, who ran the agency’s Office of Air and Radiation, buried data about cancer risks from the chemical, according to The Intercept. “But Wehrum, who was not mentioned by name but referred to as ‘then-assistant administrator for air and radiation,’ directed the regional administrator not to release the results to the public, according to the report,” the outlet reports. “Before serving as head of EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation, Wehrum was a lobbyist who represented chemical and oil companies.” Of course, he was.

Apparently, to be part of the Trump administration, you have to have the traits of a villainous cartoon character. This is some pretty serious stuff, and it didn’t go down well on the Internet.

I can’t even keep track here, but Trump supporters are now pro-cancer, pro-disease, anti-mask, pro-Russia, and anti-science. It’s no wonder that they support the most incompetent administration in US history with a president at the helm who completely bungled his response to the coronavirus pandemic that’s taken over 572,000 American lives.
