Reporter Asked WH Doctor How Trump Can Be Healthy With Terrible Diet, Physician Claimed Trump Has “Incredibly Good Genes”

I don't think that's it, dude.

Donald Trump’s health, both physical and mental, has been a cause for concern ever since the day he weaseled himself into the position of leader of our nation.

Over the past almost three years, the subject of Trump’s ever-worsening mental health has been thrust into the spotlight on more than one occasion — with several different mental health experts and professionals attempting to warn the American public and those closest to Donald within the White House that his mind is in a seriously fragile state that could be dangerous or detrimental to our country.

However, let’s face it. Donald Trump is no horse when it comes to his physical health either.

Today, Trump will be undergoing his physical as president of the United States. And just like every other time this particular exam has rolled around, we’re all left wondering just how in the hell this dude can be labeled as so fit, in shape, and healthy when he literally lives off fast food, diet Coke, and a freakish amount of ketchup.

But according to the official White House physician from his last physical, it all boils down to just “really good genes.”

During a press conference by presidential physician Dr. Ronny Jackson in January of last year, one reporter asked the good doctor the same question that has been burning in Americans’ minds for quite some time now: How is Donald Trump as healthy as they all claim when he “drinks all those diet Cokes and never exercises?”

And the answer that flowed forth from Dr. Jackson’s lips was just as ignorant as it would have been had Trump said it himself.

“It’s called genetics,” Ronny said with a shrug. “I don’t know.”

“It’s, uh, some people have just great genes,” he continued. “I told the president that if he had a healthier diet over the last 20 years he might live to be 200 years old. I don’t know. I mean, he has incredible genes, I just assume.”

Dr. Jackson then went on to smooth his answer over a bit by stating that Trump was getting on a healthier track with his eating habits, simply because he was consuming what the White House chef was preparing for him — which is evidently healthier than a steady intake of “hamberders” and “covfefe.” Though, really, it doesn’t take much to beat that.

“He’s very healthy, despite those things, and I don’t think he does that anymore,” he stated. “He’s in the White House now. He’s eating what they’re, what the chefs are cooking for him now, and it’s a much healthier diet for him now. And we’re going to continue to work on that and make that even healthier.”

But I would say the answer to your question is,” the doctor wrapped up, “he has incredibly good genes. And it’s just the way God made him.”

I’ve got a sneaky little suspicion that the efforts to “work on that” haven’t produced much success since this press conference. But of course, we’ll never be told that. We’ll get an influx of tweets soon claiming that he’s healthy as a horse. All while he’s likely choking together on KFC-caked arteries. Or, at least, we can only hope.
