Look, there was a WHOLE LOT wrong with the way outgoing-President Donald Trump handled this whole Capitol riot ordeal. For starters, there’s the fact that he literally started this whole thing through his baseless conspiracy theories and calls to action to his peeps, quite literally encouraging them to show up to the event. And then, to make matters even worse, he didn’t have a whole lot to say about the violence and mayhem that they carried out at what they felt was his bequest.
Trump did send out a few less than enthusiastic tweets, in which he discouraged the violence, and a video where he told these violent insurrectionists that he loves them, they’re special, but they should go home. Frankly, it’s pretty much precisely what we expected out of the guy.
Since the riots, multiple reports have indicated that Donald, unsurprisingly, found a whole lot of pleasure in the lengths to which his base was willing to go for him, with some going so far as to say he watched the mayhem and destruction “enthusiastically” — which is sickening enough in itself. However, just when you think things couldn’t possibly get any worse… They do.
A reporter for New York Magazine, Olivia Nuzzi, is now reporting that sources tell her Donald did find himself a bit annoyed at one detail regarding the riot — but trust me when I say, it’s nothing good.

Apparently, Donald found his supports aesthetically unappealing, telling those around him that the people storming the Capitol looked “low class.”
“He doesn’t like low class things,” the Trump advisor who spoke with Nuzzi states.

A person who currently advises Donald Trump tells me: “It’s all hit him since yesterday: ‘You may have legal exposure from yesterday. You definitely have legal exposure from other things. You have less than two weeks to remain ensconced in here with executive privilege.’”

Donald Trump was annoyed by the violent siege on the Capitol Wednesday — which left several dead — because it looked “low class,” according to his adviser. “He doesn’t like low class things.”

The adviser confirmed that he was watching television coverage of the siege enthusiastically, but noted that the sight of his own supporters forming a violent mob and destroying property and lives offended him on aesthetic grounds.

As sickening as it is, I can’t say I’m the least bit surprised that, apparently, the only thing Donald Trump was upset about was the fact that his supporters didn’t storm the United States Capitol in a suit and tie.
