Today, Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg — who’s been the center of media attention for several weeks now as the investigation continued to heat up against the former president’s business — turned himself over to authorities in connection with 15 different criminal charges lodged against him, stemming from the investigation.

Weisselberg had court this morning, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges filed against him and was walked into the Manhattan courtroom wearing handcuffs.

ABC News reporter John Santucci says he personally spoke with ex-president Trump in real-time during his organization’s CFO’s “perp walk” and said Donald referred to the 15 criminal charges against Weisselberg as a “disgrace.”

“I just spoke to former president Trump, who is reacting to this in real-time,” Santucci revealed. “He repeatedly said it was a shame.”

The ABC News reporter went on to say that he asked the ex-president about Allen Weisselberg’s “perp walk” that was caught on video and aired all over, showing his organization’s CFO being led into court in handcuffs.

“The [former] president was unaware of that,” Santucci said. “He actually paused for a moment, while we were on the phone, Terry, looked up at cable news coverage and said to me, ‘John, I can’t believe it, it’s a disgrace. He’s a tremendous person.'”

The ABC News reporter also noted that former President Trump continued to harp on his “witch hunt narrative” as the news of it all broke.

“They are pressuring him, setting him up, they want him to lie against Trump,” Donald reportedly told Santucci in real-time.

When the reporter asked Trump if he thought Weisselberg would do that, he reportedly answered simply, “No.”
