According to NBC News White House Correspondent Geoff Bennett, one of the people that attended Robert Trump’s funeral at the White house punched a waiter at DC’s Fig & Olive over the restaurant’s COVID-19 restrictions. And right now amid the pandemic, we are relying on America’s essential workers, and yet, this self-entitled gasbag reportedly attacked a waiter and “clocked him right in the nose.”
Trump held a funeral at the White House for his deceased brother Robert on Friday, and Bennett reported on Twitter that an “unruly group” of mourners went to the restaurant afterward, and became upset after they were told that capacity restrictions prevented them from accommodating the party, Mediate’s Tommy Christopher reports.
NEWS: I got a tip that someone in town for Robert Trump’s White House funeral punched a server tonight at D.C.’s Fig & Olive restaurant. I called and an employee there confirmed it: “Somebody blindsided one of my servers. Clocked him right in the nose.”

I’m told some in the group were still carrying funeral programs. The “unruly” group lashed out when the restaurant couldn’t accommodate their large party. Employee: “It’s a pandemic, doing the best we can. Totally uncalled for.” Employee says no “high-profile” Trump was involved.

The employee says he believes the server’s nose is broken.
I asked if police were involved. Employee says they have security at City Center and he thought they were handling it with DC police. But neither security nor police did anything.— Geoff Bennett (@GeoffRBennett) August 22, 2020
Employee: “My server’s nose is crooked. Pretty sure the guy broke it. They didn’t apologize. Just said, ‘You don’t know how to speak to people.'”

How brave of one of Trump’s guests to attack an essential worker that probably doesn’t get paid very much amid the raging pandemic. It doesn’t sound as if they were mourning Robert Trump’s death. Trump is expressing his alleged grief by once again hitting the links again today at his Virginia club. Trump hasn’t taken the coronavirus pandemic seriously, so we aren’t too surprised at the disrespect one of his associates showed toward an essential worker. There is no bottom.
