For the last four years, Donald Trump has done everything within his power to turn the media in this nation into the enemy of the people. He’s spent countless rallies, press conferences, and various public events just railing against the individuals who were reporting on his lies and nonsense. The man seemed to be of the belief that media outlets simply should not even be allowed to publish content that is unflattering of him in any way, despite the fact that it’s as true as truth comes. Even now, as the United States presidential election finally comes to a close, with Joe Biden the clear projected winner of the race, and the official president-elect, Trump and his team are still laying the majority of the blame at the feet of the media, claiming that they’re all skewed in favor of Democrats, despite the fact that his own beloved Fox News Network was one of the first, if not the first, to project the President-elect as the winner of the race thanks to his flip in Pennsylvania that earned him 20 electoral college votes and eventually sealed the deal on the election.
To say that media networks were cautious when projecting this last handful of states, that quite literally held the course of our next four years in their hands, would be an understatement. The ultimate projection and call took nearly five full days as states worked to ensure accurate reporting and networks worked with their projection teams to ensure that not an ounce of wiggle room could be found in their decision.
But now, after all that tedious trouble and patience, the call has been made. Joe Biden will be the 46th President of the United States. And now it seems that those reporters who have had to deal with four long years of abuse are done.
A reporter for a local New Jersey news station, Alex Zdan, was apparently reporting live recently on the election call when a Trump supporter, wearing a Trump face mask, came up behind him and asked, “Is this real news or fake news?”

Zdan wasted absolutely no time when he answered, “Fuck off,” before turning around and getting back to his reporting.
