Republican Just Compared The Economic Shutdown To “Nazi Germany”

She is actually serious with this crap.

As I’m sure you’ve seen all over the news and social media at this point, there are a lot of extremely stupid folks across this nation that are just beside themselves with fury over the fact that their local governments are requiring them to stay home in the midst of a literal pandemic.

So upset, in fact, that they’re willing to expose themselves to the life-threatening virus that’s sweeping through the nation at an alarming rate to stand outside in crowded protests and let everyone know that they’re extremely upset about it — ironically, with masks on their faces to protect themselves from the virus they don’t want to stay home over.

Honestly, this is the type of stupidity that children will be reading about in history books someday.

And I’m willing to bet that after the nonsense she’s just pulled, Idaho state Rep. Heather Scott will be at the top of the page.

Scott recently sat down for an interview with a Texan podcaster, in which she lashed out at Republican Idaho Gov. Brad Little and compared him to Adolf Hitler, saying his stay-at-home order is essentially “no different than Nazi Germany” where Jews were thrown into extermination camps.

“And when you have government telling you that your business is essential or non-essential, yours is non-essential and someone else’s is essential, we have a problem there,” she stated. “I mean, that’s no different than Nazi Germany where you had government telling people either you were an essential worker or a non-essential worker, and non-essential workers got put on a train.”

“You can’t take away people’s lives and property without compensation, and that’s exactly what he would be doing,” she went on to add in the interview. “I mean, they are already calling him Little Hitler — Gov. Little Hitler.”

“And so I think people will start educating others, and people will be more and more vocal until they will say, ‘Enough of this,’ and put the pressure — hopefully political pressure — on him,” she continued. “That’s what I would hope for.”

I’d never wish the horrors of Nazi Germany on any living soul. However, I highly recommend she have a seat and a talk with a Holocaust survivor. Perhaps then she’ll see how fucking stupid she really is.
