Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.) just wants you to know that Donald Trump, the “man” who is about to be impeached by the House of Representatives after he abused the power of his office and obstructed Congress, is facing worse obstacles than Jesus did during His trial.
Now, I know a little bit about Jesus, and Donald is nothing like Him. Jesus, our long-haired socialist friend, would slap around some money changers back in the day.
Still, the Republican Congressman compared Trump to Jesus and Democrats to Pontius Pilate to defend the most openly corrupt “president” in history.
“When Jesus was falsely accused of treason, Pontius Pilate gave Jesus the opportunity to face his accusers,” Loudermilk said. “During that sham trial, Pontius Pilate afforded more rights to Jesus than the Democrats have afforded this president in this process.”

I don’t recall any verses in the Bible that tell the story of when Jesus grabbed women by the pussy or raw-dogged porn stars. Rep. Loudermilk thinks Jesus received a better trial than Trump, and that’s not weird at all.
Republicans still don’t get it: The House impeachment proceedings are not the trial. The Republican-led Senate will hold the trial. And like with the House, Donald Trump has the door open to him to face his accusers. But Trump is too much of a pussy to testify under oath, and he would destroy himself if he did.
Trump openly admitted to participating in a quid pro quo with Ukraine’s President, so his Republican enablers would take a poopy in their pants if the former reality show star testified.
Republicans don’t know the difference between an investigation and a trial and that’s kind of sad. On the other hand, they don’t know the difference between a leader and a former reality show star either, so it’s understandable that they get confused.
Also, dude, you are so going to hell.
