The majority of this nation is so resounding exhausted after everything we’ve been through over the course of the last four years, that it’s easy for us to hope and sometimes even assume that things will someone suddenly go back to normal once Joe Biden is inaugurated as President of the United States in just a few short days. However, despite Biden’s best, most honest, and pure efforts, I am not sure that this nation will ever be quite the same again.
The corruption and deceit we’ve seen from the Republican party has gone so deep that I’m not sure they will ever recover into the party they once were. We live in a new world now, where the “other” side of the fence has devolved into nothing more than hateful, mean-spirited, dangerous conspiracy theory nuts, and I’m not sure if there’s any coming back from that.
Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is a prime example of just exactly what I mean, regarding a GOP that’s just too far gone.
Taylor Greene appears to be a proponent of the QAnon group — a far-right, fringe conspiracy theory group that believes a cabal of Satanic, cannibalistic pedophiles, full of Democrats and celebrities are running a child sex-trafficking ring in which they kill and eat children for some sort of life-sustaining elixir.

And it’s people like this who think Joe Biden isn’t fit for the presidency. And the worst part of it is, they still remain in a position of power that allows them to do something about it, or at least try to, anyway.
Speaking on a segment with Newsmax’s Greg Kelly, Marjorie Taylor Greene officially announced that she will be filing articles of impeachment against Joe Biden, for abuse of power and his alleged connections to foreign governments, the day after his inauguration to the presidency.
“Yes, I would like to announce on behalf of the American people, we have to make sure that our leaders are held accountable. We cannot have a President of the United States that is willing to abuse the power of the office of the presidency, umm, and be easily bought off by foreign governments,” the GOP Representative announced. “So on January 21st, I will be filing articles of impeachment on Joe Biden.”

Here’s the thing; it’s true that this nation is no longer the same. The corruption runs deeper and more proudly than we’ve ever seen before. But I truly believe that the hope and healing brought by President-elect Biden will prevail in the end.
