Republican Senate Candidate Caught On Audio Assuring Black Leaders He Won’t Be Loyal To Trump

That's not good news for Donald.

As November’s election creeps closer and closer, it’s natural that all of our time and energy are hyperfocused on ensuring that Donald Trump doesn’t walk away with another four years, torturing this nation and people all around the world from the comfort of the White House.

However, thanks to a new report from Politico, we’ve been reminded once again how crucial this entire election is.

While it’s true that our main concern is — and should be — ridding America of its biggest embarrassment to date, it’s important that we also remember the importance of clearing his minions out of Congress.

The fact of the matter is, there’s only so much Donald Trump can get away with on his own. For most of his schemes, scandals, and transgressions to work, he needs a government that’s been stacked in his favor, full of sycophants who are ready and willing to do his bidding.

And one GOP Senate candidate has made it very clear that should he win this election, he will not be one of them.

Politico reports that Michigan GOP Senate candidate John James recently had a conversation with black leaders in the community, in which he assured them that he has no intention of being a loyal minion to Donald Trump and his agenda.

“Plenty, plenty of issues,” James stated, who is African-American himself. “Everything from cutting Great Lakes funding to ‘shithole countries’ to speaking ill of the dead. I mean, where do you want to start?”

So far, it’s unclear as to what or who the GOP Senate candidate was referring to when he said that Trump “speaks ill of the dead.” However, there’s certainly no denying that Donald has a sickening habit of launching attacks against those who are recently departed, from Senator John McCain to Representative John Dingell.

“I haven’t gotten any money from Donald Trump. I haven’t gotten any money from Betsy DeVos. I haven’t gotten any money — that’s political talking points,” James promised. “Very little of that is true.”

Falling just behind Alabama, Michigan is the second-best chance at a Senate pickup for Republicans, though James is still falling behind his Democratic opponent in the polls.

However, it sounds as though Michigan’s GOP candidate isn’t one that Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell are going to be eager to bring on.
