What an embarrassment.

GOPers have never been known to pass up on an opportunity to make a complete and utter fool out of themselves and no one’s ever made such a good example of just that than Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn who found herself in a rambunctious Twitter tussle with a Chinese media official today.

The back and forth took off when Blackburn took to her social media account to thank outgoing President Donald Trump for banning cotton that’s been produced through Uyghur labor — with Beijing facing serious backlash and protest for its treatment of the ethnic minority.

“The U.S. will not support companies that profit off of slave labor,” Blackburn penned on Twitter.

She followed this tweet with another, reading, “China has a 5,000 year history of cheating and stealing. Some things will never change…”

While the mistreatment going on in Beijing is certainly a huge issue, chief Washington correspondent of the state-owned China Daily, Chen Weihua, was having no part of Blackburn’s blanket statement about China.

“This is the most racist and ignorant US Senator I have seen,” Weihua wrote back to Blackburn’s tweet, calling the GOP Senator “A lifetime bitch.”

“Wonder why the US Congress would have approval rating as low as 9% (according to Gallup)? It is because people like lowlife Marsha Blackburn were there,” he added.

Blackburn responded by calling Chen a “puppet” of Chinese President Xi Jinping, writing, “From Tiananmen Square to Uyghur genocide, Communist China is an expert at slaughtering populations. America will not bow down to sexist communist thugs.”

Chen only had one word in response to that:

If you can’t take the heat, Marsha, I suggest you stay out of the kitchen.
