Roger Stone, the GOP operative whose prison sentence was commuted earlier this month by our swampy president, on Saturday called a Black radio host a racial slur during a live interview with him on “The Mr. Mo’Kelly Show.” Stone was asked about his commutation and charges by Morris W. O’Kelly, also known as Mo’Kelly.

Mo’Kelly noted that certain people are treated differently in the federal justice system, but Stone’s relationship with Donald Trump made him different than most defendants. The interview turned combative and heated at certain points.

“I do believe that certain people are treated differently in the federal justice system. I do absolutely believe that,” Mo’Kelly told Stone. “But I also believe that your friendship and relationship and history with Donald Trump weighed more heavily than him just wanting to make sure that justice was done by a person in the justice system, that you were treated so unfairly. There are thousands of people treated unfairly daily. Hell, your number just happened to come up in the lottery. I’m guessing it was more than just luck, Roger, right?”

After a pause, Stone said the quiet part out loud. “I don’t really feel like arguing with this negro,” Stone can be heard telling someone else.

“I’m sorry, what was that?” Mo’Kelly asked. “Roger? I’m sorry, what did you say?”

O’Kelly then asked Stone to repeat what he said, then Stone let out a sigh, and remained silent for almost 40 seconds. Acting as if the connection had been severed, Stone went on to deny that he used the slur.

“I hear that the line is not dead,” Mo’Kelly said.

“Uhh, you’re back,” Stone remarks. “You there? Hello?”

Mo’Kelly then tells Stone that he heard him say something about a negro.

“I did not,” Stone shot back. “You’re out of your mind. You’re out of your mind.”

“OK, we’ll let the listeners decide,” Mo’Kelly tells Stone. “Let me go to the next question then.”

“Whatever,” Stone says.

Mo’Kelly responded on Twitter:

It’s so Trumpian to be caught doing something, or in this case, saying something, then deny it even after others witnessed it. It’s also very Trumpian to be a racist fuckhead. Stone is just another example of the kind of people who Trump chooses to surround himself with.
