The feud between ex-President Donald Trump and his former Vice President Mike Pence continues to mount with each passing day, it seems — as Trump continues to rage with claims that Pence had the power to overturn the election by refusing to certify the Electoral College votes, and Pence has finally begun to speak out and publicly rebuke his former boss — but it seems Florida’s Ron DeSantis wants no part of it either way.
In recent weeks, the staunchly Republican Florida governor had seemingly started to break from his old pal Donald Trump as the two appeared to fire several thinly-veiled shots at each other over everything from the COVID-19 vaccine to DeSantis’ “dull” personality. However, it seems Ron isn’t quite ready to fully commit to a clean break from Donald Trump, at least not in public where Donald will surely find out about it. But he also apparently wasn’t quite willing to fully take his side either.
According to a new report from NBC News, during a recent press briefing event, a reporter pressed the controversial GOP governor about his stance when it came to the highly publicized beef that’s currently going down between Donald Trump and Mike Pence. Ron didn’t seem to want to answer.
“Where do you fall on the divide between Pence and Trump?” the reporter questioned the governor.

“I’m not… I…” DeSantis started to say with an awkward smile, before attempting to wave off the question without giving an answer.
But the reporter kept pressing, as any good journalist does, eventually prompting DeSantis to pop off with a non-answer, saying, “I had a great relationship…as governor for two years with the Trump administration.”
Then he was quick to try to change the subject altogether to talk about how much the Biden administration sucks in his opinion.

If there’s anything I have learned about Republicans throughout my years in this industry, it’s that pretty much all of them are absolutely spineless. They don’t truly stand for or believe in much of anything, but rather just follow the biggest sheep in the herd to wherever that may lead them.
DeSantis is certainly no exception to that rule.
