Rudy sure isn't very popular.

The former mayor of New York City and Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani did not receive a warm welcome in his old stomping grounds. Rudy sure has changed since he was the mayor of the Big Apple during the 9/11 attacks. Giuliani encountered anti-Trump protesters while driving down 5th Avenue as the president’s supporters rolled through the city.

It’s no wonder that Donald Trump and his third wife moved from NYC to Florida to claim Mar-a-Lago as their main residence. New Yorkers have always loathed Trump, but since the former reality show star became president, that hatred has intensified. New Yorkers are good at spotting a conman, and they won’t allow themselves to be his mark.

According to videos posted on Twitter, a flag-draped pro-Trump caravan rolled through the city led by Giuliani, who was heckled and bombarded with eggs. “F—-g scum,” one individual yelled out, according to the pro-Trump rag the New York Post.

“F–k you, Rudy,” another man is heard yelling at Giuliani.

“You f—–g coward, go back to f—–g Long Island,” another man yells out.

Giuliani rolled down the passenger window of the vehicle he’s riding in and called out to a police officer, “Lieutenant.”

“I’m a sergeant,” the officer responds while walking over to the vehicle, which then pulled away after the two spoke briefly — while Giuliani seemed to point out protesters that were repeatedly shouting, “F–k you, Rudy, f—–g piece of s–t.”

Watch a clip of the incident:

In a video posted on Twitter, Giuliani referred to the protesters as animals.

“Look at all the animals here,” he said. “They can only say two words: ‘F-you. F-you.’ Must be a breakdown in education. Extremely inarticulate young people.”

Watch:

According to various videos of the event, the caravan of vehicles traveled across parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn, starting around 10:00 a.m. and into the afternoon. And we’re not sure why they chose Manhattan of all places. Donald Trump’s hometown hates his guts, and Giuliani is loathed as well. Eleven people were arrested after skirmishes broke out. This was a perfect image of Trump’s divided America.
