It’s pretty safe to say that everyone, our side of the fence and theirs, is a little high-strung and overwhelmed when it comes to the impending election that’s now just seven short days away. Frankly, there’s a whole lot at stake with this one — many would say more than ever before.
For us, it’s dignity, it’s respect, it’s our human rights, and for some of us, our lives. For those on the other side of the fence, it’s the blind and unchecked power that they’ve become far too accustomed to over the course of the last four years. The power to take away all of those things that are at stake for us. We saw as much today with the confirmation of Donald Trump’s Supreme Court Justice nominee, Amy Coney Barrett.
Of course, everyone reacts differently to this anxiety we’re all experiencing right now. Some lash out in anger, some sink into a deep(er) depression, some pick up a hobby, others get more exercise, some throw themselves into their work, others throw themselves into their family. For South Carolina Senator and Trump sycophant Supreme Lindsey Graham, who’s on the ballot himself this year, it appears as though heavy drinking is the answer to his woes.
Today, current Vice President Mike Pence held a Trump campaign rally in Greenville, South Carolina, where the state’s senator made a little cameo. However, footage of Graham’s appearance makes it looks as though he should’ve sat out on this event. Or at least waited until he sobered up.
