Social Media Users Were Confused After Trump Told Reporters, “I Just Got Back From India, Right? I Just Beat COVID”

President Ranty is at it again.

Donald Trump has been trying to sell the public on his claims that presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden has dementia or whatnot, but the president doesn’t seem to realize that he didn’t just “get back from India.” Also, he did not “beat COVID.” Trump is the king of projection. The current occupant of the White House was in India in February, so that was months ago.

Trump was talking to a reporter who is apparently from India; then the president launched into a racist rant instead of answering the question. “India, he loves India so much he’s never asked a question other than an India question, and that’s OK,” Trump said.

“I just got back from India, right? I just beat COVID,” the totally stable genius added.

Watch:

Twitter lit up.

Trump has been on a roll today, claiming that he’d get rid of his Twitter account if he didn’t find it necessary to push back against “fake news.” And he also threatened to take the behemoth social site down. And the reason he’s so angry amid the pandemic that has killed over one hundred and twenty-seven thousand Americans is that Twitter fact-checked him. Instead of focusing on the over two and a half million Americans who have contracted the disease, or the millions of Americas who are suddenly unemployed, Trump is spent his time lashing out at Twitter — over a fact-check.

And that’s months after he returned from India, by the way.

Oh, and Trumpers who voted for him because he “tells it like it is” do not get to explain what he really meant. That’s a new rule I just made up, but I’m just telling it like it is.
