Americans all across the nation have been coming up with new, creative ways to express their disdain for the sorry excuse we call a president of this country, Donald Trump. Some have written jingles, others have staged massive protests, others still have taken their frustrations out in the form of artwork — at this point, whatever works to help you feel a little bit less like the entire world is about to implode, we say do it.
One artist, Karen Fiorito, chose to take her frustrations out with a huge, somewhat controversial billboard in Phoenix, Arizona that depicted Donald Trump flanked by large mushroom clouds as well as dollar signs that were angled to resembled Swastikas — because I’m not saying he’s America’s version of Hitler. But… You know.
Fiorito’s billboard first went up at 11th Avenue and Grand Avenue back in March of 2017. However, it now seems that someone else saw the artist’s work and found themselves inspired to make some of their own by adding a new feature to Fiorito’s existing billboard — in the form of a big, red, clown-esque nose.
The artist explained to local news Team 12’s Mike Gonzalez that she had “no idea” about the addition of the red nose.

Beatrice Moore, the owner of the billboard space and longtime patron of the arts in the area commissioned the artwork back in 2017, of which the artist, Fiorito said at the time she was “just trying to express what I think is on a lot of people’s minds these days.”
“Some of these issues are so important you can’t not speak out,” Moore, the billboard owner said during an interview with 12 News shortly after the artwork went up.
We’re not sure if the big, red nose will be a permanent addition to the billboard or if it will be a short-lived statement. But either way, it’s pretty damn clear we’re not the only ones who think he’s a damn clown.
