Someone Left A Message For Mitch McConnell On His Home’s Front Door “Where’s My Money?”

He's not happy right now.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s home was vandalized, leaving behind an alarming message regarding the proposed $2,000 stimulus survival relief checks. Pelosi’s San Francisco home was vandalized, with most of the damage done to her garage door and driveway. The spray-painted messages read, “Cancel Rent!” and “We Want Everything” in big black letters on her door, according to TMZ. Well, that’s wrong on a couple of points. First of all, vandalism is bad. Secondly, Pelosi called for the increase of stimulus relief checks.

The problem is Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell who said that that $2,000 checks to struggling Americans are “socialism for the rich.” So, vandals got to McConnell’s home, too. Again, we don’t agree with vandalism — and we do not agree with McConnell.

According to WDRB, messages were left on the front of the Kentucky Republican’s home in red and white spray paint. The words “Weres [SIC] my money” were spray-painted on the front door along with other messages along the front porch. The messages referred to the $2,000 stimulus check increase that was blocked by McConnell.

“I’ve spent my career fighting for the First Amendment and defending peaceful protest. I appreciate every Kentuckian who has engaged in the democratic process whether they agree with me or not,” Senator McConnell said, according to the outlet. “This is different. Vandalism and the politics of fear have no place in our society. My wife and I have never been intimidated by this toxic playbook. We just hope our neighbors in Louisville aren’t too inconvenienced by this radical tantrum.”

Efforts to increase second-round stimulus checks to Americans from $600 to $2,000 died in the Senate. At the same time, food banks are being hammered, Americans are still isolated at home, evictions are about to spike, and the jobless rate is through the roof. Nearly three hundred and eighty-seven thousand Americans have died from COVID-19. People are being walloped economically in this country. The impact of the pandemic has hit Americans on several fronts. But, Mitch thinks it’s socialism to assist struggling Americans. I sent McConnell a money request on PayPal for $2,000. That will help get the $2,000 stimulus checks out there about as much as the vandalism will.
